TSCRA Crime Watch: 11 Brangus cows missing in far South Texas

TSCRA Special Ranger Steve Martin, Dist. 30 in far South Texas, reports 11 head of cattle missing from a pasture in San Patricio County. These registered black Brangus cows are 5 to 6 years old, heavy bred with no brands or marks. 10 are muley (hornless) and 1 has small tip horns. All the cows had ear tags of different colors with a two digit number. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest or conviction. Ada man surrenders in case of cattle sold on Internet

An Ada, Okla. man surrendered to authorities at the Pontotoc County jail Thursday on charges stemming from an investigation of cattle sold on the Internet. The suspect was charged with obtaining merchandise or money by false pretenses. TSCRA Crime Watch: Ranch horse shot and killed in North Texas

TSCRA Special Ranger Troy McKinney, Dist. 11 in North Texas, reports a ranch horse was shot and killed in Cooke County within the Gainesville city limits. Some time in the evening of Aug. 22 or early morning of Aug. 23 a palomino gelding was shot and killed at the New Gainesville Livestock Auction barn. TSCRA Crime Watch: More than 3 dozen heifers, cows and calves missing in SE OK

TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier, Dist. 4 in Southeast Oklahoma, reports more than 3 dozen head of cattle missing some time between July 15 and Aug. 15 from a pasture near Tishomingo in Johnson County. Missing are 5 heavy-bred black 2-year-old heifers; 11 assorted black, smoke and Charolais-type crossbred 500-pound yearling steer calves; and approximately 15 cow-calf black Angus cross pairs. All of the missing steer calves, mature cows and the 2-year-old heifers are branded with an OC or circle C brand on the left ribs or side. Vigilant citizen using Google and TSCRA Crime Watch results in recovery of stolen tractor

TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings recovered a tractor Aug. 15 that was stolen this past January from a rancher in Nowata. A local man had spotted the tractor in a pasture west of Nowata and thought the circumstances were suspicious. After the man took some photographs of the tractor and its data plate, he performed an internet search that resulted in a TSCRA crime watch describing an identical tractor. Information is still being sought regarding a Honeywell generator that was stolen at the same time as the tractor. Read more…

TSCRA Crime Watch: Tractor, mower and trailer stolen in OK

TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings, Dist. 5 in northeast Oklahoma, reports the theft of a John Deere tractor, mower and 18-foot bumper pull trailer from a property near Coweta in Wagoner County. Some time after Aug. 4 a thief or thieves cut multiple locks to steal a 2013 John Deere 1023E 4X4 open station tractor, serial number 1LV1023EPEH41557. The tractor has hydraulics installed for a front loader that was not attached at the time of the theft. Also stolen was a green John Deere 54-inch side discharge belly mower, serial no. 1M01054DKEM044077; and a green John Deere 18-foot bumper pull trailer with pipe railing and tandem axle with chrome wheels, serial no. 41MAU1821FW044513.
