Jeremie Del Ral Ford, 30, was sentenced to 12 years in prison and ordered to pay more than $4,000 in restitution to the victims of cattle stolen from a Smith County ranch in 2016. The punishment was enhanced to a second-degree felony due to Ford’s prior felony convictions. TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand, District 13 in East Texas, reports 61 head of steers missing from a property in northwest Smith County sometime before May 10. The steers are all colors, weigh 500 to 600 pounds, each, are branded with a turkey track on the left hip and have yellow, pink or green ear tags. TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings, District 5 in eastern Oklahoma, reports the theft of a stock trailer from a property in Muskogee. Stolen sometime after April 20 was a newly painted bright maroon bumper-pull tandem axle 12-foot stock trailer with silver wheels and moon style caps. The trailer has a single back swing door, diamond plate over the front of the fenders and at the bottom of the nose, as well as a small window in front of the nose. TSCRA Special Ranger Ben Eggleston, District 2 in the Texas Panhandle, reports 8 head of black heifers missing from a property in Sherman County. The heifers went missing sometime between March 26 and April 13, weigh approximately 600 pounds, each; are branded with a 7 on the left hip; have tags in right ear and 7 under bit notch in the left ear. TSCRA Special Ranger Kenny Wadsworth is seeking information after approximately 125 head of Dorper sheep were stolen from a Crockett County ranch in West Texas. A cash reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to the recovery of the animals and arrest of the person or persons responsible for the crime. TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand, District 13 in East Texas, reports the theft of two trophy saddles stolen from a property near Flint in Smith County sometime after April 7. Stolen was a brown Todd Slone custom saddle with a 13-inch seat and “2008 CTYRA All Around Champion” on the right stirrup and “2008 CTYRA Champion Ribbon Roping” on the left stirrup. TSCRA Special Ranger Wayne Goodman, District 10 in North Texas, reports the theft of a saddle from an unlocked trailer near Millsap sometime after March 26. Missing is a Cactus Saddlery barrel racing saddle with a 13 1/2″ padded seat with alligator pattern; silver Conchos with floral engraving; basket weave tooling with two florals stamped into the fenders and rear skirts; and smooth jockeys with basket weave border tooling. TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings, District 5, reports 22 head of black Angus cattle missing since March 16 from a property near Bokichito in Bryan County, southeastern Oklahoma. Missing are 14 head of 1000-pound black Angus yearlings, with no ear tags, brands or marks; and 8 head of black Angus heavy-bred cows with no brands, ear tags or marks. TSCRA Jimmy Dickson, District 14 in East Texas, reports 13 black Brangus-type heifers missing from a ranch in Van Zandt County. The cattle went missing sometime between March 21 and 24 and are unbranded with yellow ear tags and bangs (Brucella) tags. The heifers were three to four months bred at the time of theft. TSCRA Special Ranger Ben Eggleston, Dist. 2 in southwest Oklahoma, reports 5 head of cattle missing from a property in Greer County Oklahoma. The cattle were last seen on Jan. 15 and are black, yellow or red steers and heifers weighing 325 to 500 pounds, each. All cattle were branded with a T over an upside down T or laying down TT on the right hip, with a square ear notch in right or left ear.
