TSCRA Crime Watch: Riding lawn mower, trailer stolen in Central TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Marvin Wills, Dist. 15 in Central Texas, reports the theft of a John Deere lawnmower and utility trailer stolen from a property in Falls County near Rosebud. On June 16 a thief or thieves cut locks to steal a John Deere riding lawn mower, model JD x-300, and a black 14-foot tandem axle shop-made utility trailer. TSCRA Crime Watch: 30 mixed heifers missing in Parker County

TSCRA Special Ranger Wayne Goodman, Dist. 10 in North Texas, reports 30 head of mixed heifers missing from a property in Parker County in the last week. These cattle are reds, blacks and white, some with short horns. They weigh between 600 and 700 pounds, each, and are branded with a horseshoe on the left shoulder with the open end facing to the left hip and a second horseshoe brand on the left hip with the open end facing left shoulder. Burlington man sentenced to 15 years in prison for cattle theft

A Milam County judge Wednesday sentenced William James Crenan, 59, of Burlington, Texas, to 15 years in prison for stealing more than 100 head of cattle from an El Paso rancher who was running cattle on Crenan’s pasture in northern Milam County. Crenan was also ordered to pay $575,922 in restitution to the victim. TSCRA Special Rangers Marvin Wills and Hal Dumas led the investigation in cooperation with the Milam County Sheriff’s Office.
