TSCRA Crime Watch: 6 Angus cross cows missing in Central TX

TSCRA Special Ranger Brett Wellden has reported 6 Angus cross cows missing from a property near Kosse in Limestone County, Texas. The cows weigh approximately 1200 pounds, each, and have an ML with a backwards L brand on the left hip. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Special Ranger Wellden at 405-586-9145. Anonymous tipsters with information on any case may also call the Operation Cow Thief Hotline at 888-830-2333. A cash reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and/or grand jury indictment of thieves.

Burlington man found guilty of stealing more than 100 head of cattle

On Friday a Milam County jury found William James Crenan, 59, of Burlington, guilty of theft of $100,000 to $200,000 from an elderly person in a case involving more than 100 head of cattle stolen from an El Paso rancher who was running cattle on Crenan’s pasture in northern Milam County. The case was investigated by TSCRA Special Rangers Marvin Wills and Hal Dumas in cooperation with the Milam County Sheriff’s Office.

Claremore man arrested on charges of cattle theft

Robert Luis Rulo, Jr., 43, of Claremore, Okla., was arrested Saturday in Rogers County on a felony warrant for 2 counts of larceny of livestock in a case involving 6 calves stolen from a neighboring rancher.

Information sought in East Texas skid steer theft

TSCRA Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information on the theft of a skid steer worth approximately $45,000 from Kiepersol Enterprises in the East Texas town of Bullard. According to Dickson, the theft occurred between April 1 and April 4, when a thief or thieves stole a yellow and black 2004 model Case 95XT skid steer loader with dual hydraulic clamps on the front bucket.

Two OK men held in cattle theft case

Colby Ryan Smith, 25, of Carter, Okla., and Ryan James Guidry, 26, of Sayre, Okla., were arrested April 11 in Beckham County and charged with larceny of domestic animals and knowingly concealing stolen property in a case of 22 cattle stolen from ranchers in Texas and Oklahoma. TSCRA Special Ranger Ben Eggleston led the multi-state investigation that involved multiple law enforcement agencies.

Cattle theft suspect arrested in Ohio

Marvell Galloway, 60, of Carthage, was arrested Tuesday in Sandusky, Ohio after TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand received an anonymous tip through the Operation Cow Thief Hotline.The tip came to Hand on Monday and provided detailed information showing the suspect was living. Panola County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jeff Ivy worked with Hand and Detective Sgt. Dana Newell of Sandusky Police Department to locate and arrest Galloway.
