TSCRA Crime Watch: Cattle missing in Texas Panhandle, NE OK
TSCRA Special Ranger Dean Bohannon, District 7 in the Texas southwestern region of the Texas Panhandle, reports 3 cattle missing from a Gaines County property sometime after May 1, 2018. Missing are 3 motley black heifers that could have a white face, weighing approximately 800 pounds, each. They are branded with a spear up and a spear down, like drawing an 11 with a spear on top and a spear on bottom, on the right rib; and a figure 7 on the left hip. TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier, District 4 in northeastern Oklahoma, reports 15 cows and 2 calves missing from properties in Wagoner and Osage counties.
Sometime between June 12 and 18, 15 cows were stolen from a property near Porter in Wagoner County. Taken were 6 Charolais cows between 4 to 6 years old, 6 black Angus cows, three of which are 2-year-old first-calf heifers, and three 4 to 6-year-old Angus cows; and 3 red Limousin cows approximately 4 to 6 years old. All of the cows are branded on the left hip with a tripe T that is stair stepped and connected.
Also stolen this week from a property near Avant in Osage County are two unsexed, unbranded newborn black Brangus cross calves weighing 100 to 300 pounds, each.
